When Jesus therefore was born in Bethlehem of Juda in the days of King Herod, behold, there came wisemen from the East to Jerusalem,

And having receiued an answer in sleepe that they should not returne to Herod, they went backe another way into their countrey.

And being admonish'd in sleep, not to return to Herod, they went back another way into their own Country.

And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.

And after they were departed, behold an Angel of our Lord appeared in sleepe to Ioseph, saying: Arise, & take the childe & his mother, & flee into Aegypt: and be there vntil I shal tel the. For it will come to passe that Herod wil seeke the childe to destroy him.

And when they had departed, behold an Angel of the Lord appeared in sleep to Joseph, saying: Arise, and take the Child and his Mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there till I tell thee: for Herod shall seek the Child to destroy him.

Then Herod perceauing that he was deluded by the Sages, was exceding angrie: and sending murdered all the men children that were in Bethlehem, & in al the borders thereof, from two yere old & vnder, according to the time which he had diligently sought out the Sages.

Then Herod perceiving that he had been deluded by the wise men, was exceeding angry, and sent, and slew all the male children, which were in Bethlehem, and in all the limits thereof, from two years old, and under, according to the time which he had diligently sought of the wise men.

Then Herod seeing himself deluded by the wise Men, was exceeding angry, and sending murder'd all the male-children, which were in Bethlehem, and in all the confines thereof, from two years old and under, according to the Time, which he had inquired of the wise men.

Then Herod seeing that he had been deceived by the Wise men, was exceed wrath, and sent and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and the neighbourhood thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had exactly informed himself of by the Wise men.

Then Herod perceiving that he was deluded by the wisemen, was exceeding angry; and sending killed all the men-children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the borders thereof, from two years old an
